Band

Today we are going to be hosting a Christian band from Mexico here until tomorrow. They will be traveling around Uruguay, preforming and then giving an altar call type thing. Please pray for their safe travels, and that many people here in this beautiful country will come to know Christ.

Camp day

Today will be a camp day, we will have the kids from INAU (The government run orphanage). They will come here from 3:00 to 6:00 pm (usually they come at 2:00 but today there were a few complications, so they will be coming at 3) Also after this camp, we only have 3 more, and i have to say i am kinda sad. Please pray for the camp today, and the remaining camps.

Rain

I can hear the soft patter of the rain on the tin roof, and as i sit here in good company, anticipating a good dinner and living on an almost dream farm, I realize that sometimes we can think that this is all about us. But I have learned that there are good times, and that there are bad times, We just have to keep thanking God for the good and the bad, as it says in Romans 8:28 it says "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose". So i just want to encourage you (I also am writing this for myself, because I need to hear it) to just keep on thanking God for the good and the bad.

Welcome!

Hello everyone, This is my first official blog post. I kinda wish that I had started a blog when we moved here but i didn't. Right now it is 83F and I am burning up while a lot of the Northern hemisphere is freezing. The purpose of this blog is not just to tell what we are doing, but what God is also doing. So with that already said, welcome to my blog.
